The potential for PCR repair applications is vast, with the repair primarily focusing on providing engineered repair solutions to aged/corroded assets with integrity issues and reinstating the assets integrity to its original capacity, without any downtime. Our repair solutions can be applied to a vast array of cases including:

  • Pipelines and piping systems

  • Complex geometries (T’s and bends)

  • Protection during thrust boring (HDD)

  • GRP and GRE pipes and components

  • Jetty and pier support columns

  • Bridges

  • Caissons

  • Splash zone repairs

PCR-GX and PCR-CX2 are both high performance composite repair products using epoxy resin systems and multi-axial reinforcement fabrics. PCR-GX uses a multi-axial E-glass reinforcement fabric, PCR-CX and -CX1 uses carbon fibre reinforcement fabrics which gives the repair system a higher modulus making it ideal for repairs to high pressure lines. All products have been tested and fully qualified to ISO 24817:2015 for strengthening applications, internal and external corrosion including leaking through-wall defects.

PCR-CX1
Unidirectional Carbon repair system for very hot climate for pipe repair of Type A (non through wall) defects.

 

PCR-CX2 
Biaxial Carbon repair system for very hot climate for pipe repair of Type A (non through wall) defects 

 

PCR-TCX3 (in development)
Multiaxial Carbon Prepreg System with high operating temperature for Type A (Non-through wall) as well as Type B (Through wall) defects.
