PCT was commissioned to manufacture the train bogie boxes. Considering the high volume of demand PCT decided to use a light resin transfer molding process with multiple molds.
The scope of work included tool design, industrialization, tooling, testing (fire smoke & mechanical), manufacturing, assembly, painting, thermal and acoustic insulation and delivery to Alstom’s final train assembly site in Barcelona, Spain.
All parts delivered comply with EN45545 regulation for Fire and smoke norms.
