The Medinah Station concourse roof is built in a unique design of umbrellas with green tiling giving it a remarkable and eye-catching appearance. The concourse roof design consists of a highly repetitive pattern that is made up of 41 panels that fit together to make one large square module 27 x 27 metres. Each panel is required to be structurally lightweight, fire resistant, immune to extreme temperatures and weather conditions, and easy to install.
The Mataf Ceiling, combining PCTs skill in both FRP and Concrete, will encompass all four levels of the Mataf walkway. It is composed of UHPC, and includes an intricate, multi-faceted decorative design that has taken several long months to create. The project requires a large amount of work from mould making.
The largest clock in the world. With a face size of 43 meters diameter, the Dokaae Clock is the largest clock in the world. Over 400 meters above the ground it is visible in all districts of Mecca, from more than eight kilometres away and is a breath taking addition to the Holy City.
PCT developed innovative techniques for the production of 27 sliding domes for the Prophet‘s Holy Mosque in Medina. The lightweight composite domes provide a mobile roof to the internal courtyards, sliding open and closed to counteract extreme temperature changes and control and support the air-conditioned environment of the mosque.
Located in a landscaped park measuring 100 hectares, Emirates Palace is an architectural wonder and an international landmark in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This enormous complex, which is now used as a luxury hotel, is over 14,000m2 in size and incorporates 114 domes that demonstrate traditional Arabian elements, all built by PCT.

This latest iteration of structural glass design provides the purest form possible within the limits of current material fabrication. Clear glazed single panel walls with no connections to distract the eye, 10m long by 3m high on four sides, provide an efficient structural form capable of resisting seismic loads, while providing total transparency and architectural purity.
PCT built the tiled advanced composite structure at Dubai based facility. The Sky Over Nine Columns was unveiled on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The installation in the church square on San Giorgio consists of nine symmetric columns over seven metres high covered with a golden mosaic and bearing the sky.
The Premier Dragon is the result of two years comprehensive design, research, testing and development of arguably the world’s most distinguished one design racing boat. To achieve the preferred Premier Dragon design, a team of specialists was pulled together, by PCT, including, Andy Claughton (Wolfson Unit), Paolo Manganelli (Gurit) and Klaus Roeder (Carpe Diem Yacht Design).
The Farr 280 One Design is a new production racing sailboat by Farr Yacht Design that delivers the excitement of grand prix racing to the under-30’ one design arena. As a strict, modern one design, the Farr 280 delivers contemporary grand prix features and style to a more achievable smaller boat package. The boat has dynamic performance on all points of sail, with a focus on inshore racing for a moderate crew size of five to six people.
Now building, the Mk2 version of the Martin Fischer-designed, Great Cup 32 (GC32) catamaran. Delivers high performance, sensational racing and high safety. High Performance: Combining low drag hull, L foils, high righting moment and generous sail area, the GC32 has the capability to reach 35 knots and beyond.
Designed by Shaun Carkeek, the Carkeek 40 (C40) was designed specifically under the High Performance Rule (HPR), where Carkeek was able to draw on their experience from multiple victories in MedCup, TP52, and GP42 championships. The C40 MKII is a lightweight, grand prix racing boat and is significantly lighter than an equivalent IRC boats, but with a very different hull form.
PCT collaborated with Farr Yacht Design to design and build this all carbon, one design 40ft racer. The FARR 400 was engineered to push the boundaries of modern design and utilise the latest building practices to create an aggressive one-design racer that is technically consistent, ensuring absolute equal performance across the whole class.
The Premier 45 is a lightweight, high performance lifting keel cruiser, designed by Botin/Carkeek. The boat is built for speed, designed to be a class-leading performer. A lightweight, e-glass/ carbon hull, full carbon deck and composite interior structure are infusion moulded using 5-axis CNC milled tooling. A generous upwind and downwind sail area provides the horsepower whilst low displacement and wetted surface area ensure the boat is easily driven in lighter conditions.
Alongside the development of the Carkeek 40, PCT has been working on a larger 47ft high performance racer: the Carkeek 47 (C47). Designed with similar objectives to the C40 MKII: a cutting edge inshore/offshore racing yacht with grand prix performance, construction, and technology.
PCT unveils the Judel Vrolijk IRC52, expected 2015. This exciting new 52-footer has been created by the renowned design office of Judel/Vrolijk & Co; integrating the latest performance and engineering developments from the Super Series 52 class, to create a high-performance IRC racer, which when not racing, can be used in performance cruising mode, widening its appeal to owners who enjoy all aspects of performance sailing.
The Carkeek 60 (C60) is the first of a new breed of race boat built by Premier Composites that combines speed with strength in a relatively simple hull form. The new boat has a rounded hull shape derived from the TP52's like Hooligan and Team New Zealand but the extra length should allow it to sail away from the TP52s.
PCT to build new high performance cruiser the Premier JV74, designed by Judel Vrolijk & Co. The narrative for this beautiful yacht, has evolved over a number of years, with valuable input from, Premier Composite Technologies, German yacht specialist Arno Kronenberg and Judel Vrolijk & Co, designers. The sleek, racing lines and profile combine with the powerful hull form, to ensure this yacht looks beautiful both in the harbour and whilst out sailing. In all, she is a stunning yacht with masses of power, a variable draft and beautifully appointed accommodation.
Designed by Farr Yacht Design and built by Premier Composite Technologies of Dubai. This exciting and beautiful sports boat exhibits a powerful stepped hull with shear sides, integrated centre console, comfortable lounging area forwards and a spacious aft deck, creating an open and relaxed atmosphere. The Premier 38 (P38) is built, using the latest technology and techniques by PCT, using a combination of GRP and infused carbon composites to increase rigidity and save weight.

The Queensland Rail Sunlander 14 Tilt Train, which will run between Brisbane and Cairns, Australia, entered passenger service in mid-2014. The train is designed and built by Downer Rail, a leading provider and maintainer of passenger and freight rolling stock in Australia with over 100 years’ experience.
