The Transperth B-series are a class of electric multiple trains unit built by Downer Rail, Maryborough for Transperth. PCT was commissioned to manufacture E-glass- Vinyester infused Cab front ends. The scope of work included complete tooling, testing (Ballistic, impact, fire & mechanical), manufacturing, assembly, painting & delivery to Australia.

Considering the distance from client, special care is taken while shipping. All front ends were shrink-wrapped, frame mounted and shipped in 40 foot open top containers to ensure no damage/distortion during transportation.

The project includes 55 types of interior panels that include: 4 meter long window panels, door pillars and drivers cab panels (including driver’s desk and partition panels).
