SNOHETTA TO DESIGN PCT'S EXHIBITION STAND AT 100% DESIGN LONDON

Premier Composite Technologies (PCT), the leading global supplier of lightweight advanced composite structures, is pleased to confirm that the internationally acclaimed architectural firm Snohetta will design the PCT stand at the 100% Design London.

PCT and Snohetta will collaborate at 100% Design (stand C120) from 23-26th September 2010 to create an inspirational design made entirely from advanced composite materials, in a bid to demonstrate to the architectural and design markets on the benefits of working with composite materials over more traditional materials such as steel and concrete. The stand will be designed by Snohetta but engineered, constructed and installed by PCT from their Dubai-based manufacturing facilities.

The collaboration will not be the first time that the two companies have worked together. Recently, PCT was proud to have produced a 1:1 prototype composite facade panel for the new Snohetta designed gateway tower for the UAE city Ras al-Khaimah. The 260m tower will feature an innovative building envelope that will be clad with approximately 1000 composite facade panels made from a composite sandwich of glass fibre, epoxy resin and a structural foam core.
